February 25, 2014- Volunteer Information Night

7pm in the Glens Falls Middle School Cafeteria

Glens Falls Lacrosse is a volunteer driven organization that relies on the donated time and expertise of numerous parents and community members.  We have an all volunteer board as well as volunteer coaches and team parents.  In the past we have had volunteers take and compile team photographs, organize fundraisers and car pools, and even run concessions.  Anything and everything is appreciated.

Please consider volunteering your time to Glens Falls Lacrosse this spring as we have found the old adage "many hands make light work" to be true.  The more we can assist one another, the easier it is for everyone and the better the experience is for the kids.  Having numerous parents attached to each team provides for a richer, less stressful experience for all.

We are particularly in need of volunteer coaches and team parents at the 3rd/4th and Kdg-2nd levels.  NO LACROSSE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED as we are committed  to providing volunteers support and guidance with regard to everything from practice planning to game management.  Please consider helping us to continue to offer quality experiences for our athletes.

March 3, 2014- 7/8 Practice begins

7/8 players will begin practicing in the gymnasium at Kensington Road School.  Practices will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm until field conditions permit outside practice.

March 4, 2014 Glens Falls Lacrosse Board Meeting

7pm in the Glens Falls Middle School Cafeteria

Agenda items will include but are not limited to coaches and volunteers, registration numbers, equipment orders, finances and upcoming events.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

April 1, 2014- Meet the Coaches

7pm in the Glens Falls Middle School Cafeteria

This is the chance for players and parents to meet their coaches for the upcoming season.  Information on practice and game schedules will be provided at this time and we will also provide an opportunity to ask questions about the game of lacrosse, proper equipment, the Glens Falls Lacrosse mission, etc.  Please consider joining us and get the season off on the right foot!
